Technology

Systems and Software: SBA's claims system is server based, operating on a Windows 2000 network. Our sophisticated software is highly flexible and can employ CPT-4 defined automated claims adjudication. For data security, we use an advanced firewall system and virus scanning, user IDs and passwords, and all information sent via the Internet or EDI is encrypted. We maintain both hot-site and cold-site backup systems, and all data is archived daily.

Internet: Our advanced system allows us to link our clients, their employees and providers via the Internet. The system's unique features directly benefit the broker, client, provider, and patient. Online plan, benefit, eligibility, and claim information are just a sampling of the helpful features available.
